The seminar on AI-enabled Sentiment Analysis was conducted by Marco Brambilla and it was dedicated to present the sentiment analysis based on social media and digital tools. POLIMI, one of TRIGGER partners has developed very interesting case studies that have illustrate how it is easily and fast to track the sentiment of certain groups of people through their behaviour / posting and location on social media. These powerful tools are to be further explored under TRIGGER project, respecting the issues of privacy and data protection regulations, but analysing how to create synergies and distil relevant data to understand citizens’ engagement and participation in political decisions.
