From 11 to 14 November, at the European University Institute (EUI) in Fiesole, Italy, a series of activities, meeting and workshops took place, in order to prepare the forthcoming year of work and to collect key-data with high-level experts. The event started with the 3rd consortium meeting of the project, gathering all the partners and some members of the Scientific Committee in order to discuss the first year of the project, the main achievements until the moment, the preparation for reporting period and to discuss the next steps, taking collective decisions, led by Andrea Renda, Coordinator of TRIGGER project from CEPS.

As one of the major outcomes, it was decided a renewed focus to the four deep dives foreseen in the project, following the latest decisions under the Von der Leyen European Commission, such as the focus on sustainable development.

The first deep dive will focus on the sustainable development goals (SDGs); the second one will focus on EU-Africa relations; the third one targets climate policies, and, finally, deep dive four’s thematic will be digital policy.
